CARABINIERI BARRACKS
OF MONTEREALE
The reconstruction of the new Territorial Barracks of the Carabinieri and Forestry Carabinieri in the Municipality of Montereale (AQ) was made necessary following the damage caused by the earthquakes of 2016 and 2017.
nZEB (nearly Zero Energy Building) building built according to the principles of sustainable and bioclimatic design, it is developed with an anti-seismic load-bearing structure in X-lam wood.
Ventilated facade made with highly efficient and sustainable anodized aluminum panels, which ensure low maintenance costs over time, geometrically scanned that recall the historical elements and colors of the facades of the city of Montereale, fitting harmoniously into the urban context that surrounds it.
Demogo architectural firm contacted NECE in 2022 (the year the project started), as a leader in the Anodization sector, which provided the necessary guarantees given the numerous and important national and international references in the architectural sector, with continuous facades made of modular aluminum panels with full and perforated surfaces, such as:

Moreover, the huge NECE range already satisfied their needs both in terms of shades (dark bronze 4B and light dark brown 5B and dark 6B) and finish (satin matt ARC).
Among the numerous competing companies, the tender was won by Ecosteel, with which the consultancy on the necessary quantities and the detailed study of the punching began immediately, followed by the creation of some prototypes of the anodized aluminum panels, which were immediately accepted.
The complete anodization of the 1,200 m2 of panels was completed by NECE in just 3 weeks, including the 80 μm black and white PVC film coating service, guaranteed to withstand the elements.
