SPECIAL FINISHES

The Special Finishes, compared to the Standard ones (Brushed ARS and Opaque ARC), have been specifically designed to further improve the aluminum surfaces, both of the profiles and of the sheets, under the mechanical and aesthetic aspect.
The most widespread defect of aluminum is the “bands / extrusion lines”, which is particularly delicate since it only shows up after the Anodization treatment, which is therefore not visible on the raw material, with the great risk of additional not-budgeted costs and times.

SANDBLASTING / MICRO-BLASTING -SAB

The first solution introduced to solve this problem was the treatment of Sandblasting – Micro Shot Peening (SAB) that in 80% of the cases eliminates the defect, homogenizing the surface.

Subsequently Cross Brushing (SI) and Linear Brushing (SD) were introduced to create a deeper action and, in addition to covering the  “bands / extrusion lines”, they also solve the problems of scratches or deep  incisions.

OXIDATION CLASSES

Anodic oxidation is an electro-chemical process whose purpose is the formation, on the surface of aluminum products, of an oxide film. This film protects the underlying layers from the action of atmospheric agents and must therefore have a suitable thickness and related to the environment in which the products will be destined and their use.
NECE Technical Specifications
  • The finishes are made on industrial plants and comply with European standards relating to anodic oxidation processes on aluminum profiles.
  • The colors and their shades in this samples are purely indicative.
  • We do not accept disputes on cut, processed and assembled materials. The customer is required to check the materials before processing.
  • The customer is required to ask for confirmation on codes and colors. NECE reserves the right to vary the finishes and colors without prior notice.
  • Mechanical factors, which are not completely controllable by the process and oxidation, such as the type of profile, its heat treatment, the composition of the alloy, the finish and its chemical reactivity, influence the color.
