In Italy in the 70s, to improve thermo-acoustic performance residential buildings has started to install, in the outside, additional doors and windows in aluminum, called “double windows”.
Another advantage of this system was to protect against the elements the internal frames built in classic wood and with a single glass.
The technological improvement of door and window system could merge into a single product the advantages of the two types of frames, creating doors and windows with aluminum outside, wood inside and double glazing.
Externally, the new finishes of Cross and Linear Brushings proposed by NECE for Aluminum match perfectly with the naturalness of fibers wood ensuring the durability of the outer surface of the frame in the time.
Another important aspect is the drastic reduction (almost zero) of maintenance required by aluminum-wood doors and windows.
Inside, the wood gives a pleasant feeling of warmth.
The colors of the Aluminum that go for the greatest are the classical ones, technologically improved, as Bronze, Dark Brown and Steel.
