IOC OLYMPIC HOUSE
NECE ANODIZED THE MOST SUSTAINABLE BUILDING IN THE WORLD.
The International Olympic Committee in 2019 inaugurated the new headquarters, in Lausanne, to bring together all the staff of the 500 employees, which previously was distributed in four different locations.
The design of the building comes from the idea of recalling the shape of a moving athlete, and the undulating and dynamic surfaces make the structure look different from every angle from which you look at it.
The interior of the Olympic House is designed to be future-proof as it has the least structural constraints, allowing it to adapt to a variety of working styles.
The new headquarters of the International Olympic Committee has obtained three of the most stringent certificates of sustainable construction: LEED v4 Platinum (with the highest score ever awarded) SNRS Platinum and Minergie P, establishing itself as the most sustainable building in the world.
