PRICENTON UNIVERSITY
ART MUSEUM

It is located at Princeton University in New Jersey and is one of the most prestigious university museums in the world, with a collection of over 117,000 works.

Open to the public without an admission ticket, the museum is a cultural resource for everyone.

5,000 years of art, the museum covers a period ranging from antiquity to contemporary art with works by famous artists such as Picasso: the collections dedicated to China, the United States and Latin America stand out, together with a rich selection of Greco-Roman artifacts.

The museum’s newly inaugurated new headquarters is an architectural masterpiece that combines interconnected pavilions with spaces flooded with natural light, creating a harmonious environment where art and architecture interact, with breathtaking interiors thanks to the rich use of materials.

Goppion, a leading name in the field of display cases, designed and manufactured 22 cases for the PUAM, mainly wall-mounted, which offer optimal visibility and enrich the museum experience, paying homage to art in all its beauty.

They were designed with the aim of creating an atmosphere that enhances the objects on display, highlighting every detail thanks to high-quality materials, advanced technologies and lighting systems designed to emphasize the unique characteristics of the works.

Goppion, world leader in museum displays, has been entrusting NECE with the anodization of display cases for major museums around the world for several years, due to the level of finish and quality guaranteed.

CODICI SPAZZOLATURA SCOTCH BRITE

The client wanted to achieve an brushed antiqued burnished effect on various aluminum elements, in order to obtain an high-quality aesthetic result that would remain unchanged over time.

NECE, with its 60 years of experience, starting from the C335 Electrocoloring, carried out a series of tests, customizing the Scotch Brite satin finish, until the effect desired by the Architecture Studio was perfectly achieved.

The initial studies, which began in 2023, were completed with delivery in 2025. During this period, Goppion was able to rely consistently on the same NECE representatives, ensuring continuity of communication without any loss of time.

NECE supplied the aluminum sheets needed to manufacture the components and collaborated with Goppion in the industrialization and refinement of hundreds of technical drawings of the individual components, in order to optimize the manufacturing and assembly processes.

The NECE Quality System, which includes very strict controls, made it possible to guarantee that the thousands of anodized pieces had the same shade, despite the numerous shapes, and, furthermore, the large production capacity allowed for the entire batch to be delivered in very short times.
