SMALL METAL PARTS -
PRECISION PLATES
ANODIZING

Aluminum is increasingly used in technical environments such as high speed, transport, naval, aeronautical, architectural, furniture, design for the magnificent properties of lightness, resistance and workability.

It becomes unalterable over time with the anodizing process that brings further aesthetic and structural qualities.

The Small Metal Parts in Aluminum, intended as finished components that have to be assembled on machinery, furniture, windows & doors, automation systems, etc., as well as large machined plates, are anodized to achieve the following advantages:

  • Hardening of the surface
  • Strength and durability
  • Aesthetic improvement

Often in small components Laser marking is required to engrave, indelibly, the article code or logo.

Being Precision Components painting is ruled out because it would result in an increase in dimensions up to 100 µm and unevenly; otherwise the Anodizing makes changes to dimensions much smaller and practically homogeneous.

NECE Anodizing offers, specifically for Small Metal Parts, the CHEMICAL ZERO Finish* that compensates for the thickness of 15µm that the layer of oxide will subsequently bring with the treatment of the Anodizing treatment.

The most requested colors in Precision Mechanics are Silver Anodizing  and Black Anodizing.

* Finish tested on alloys 6060 and 6082.
