EXPERIENCE ON THERMAL BREAK PROFILES
NECE Anodizing boasts decades of experience in the field of anodizing of profiles for aluminum frames, with a wide range of colors.
Following the numerous tests carried out, in this long period of time, he was able to ascertain that some of the thermal break profiles, including the innovative systems, are not very suitable to be anodized with Inorganic Colors, as it is not possible to obtain perfection on the non-visible surface (internal part of the profile).
The limit found in this process consists in a slight discoloration near the coupling, between aluminum and polyethylene, due to the geometry of the profile itself, where it is not possible to obtain a perfect color.
By Inorganic Colors we mean all NECE swatches coded with 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B champagne, 2B LP, 3B LP, 6B LP, champagne LP, while those coded with letter A are Electrocoloring, therefore not subject to this problem. , including silver and steel.
NECE Anodizing therefore recommends that the customer check the possible problems that the thermal break profiles may present, before confirming the order, in order to avoid unpleasant inconveniences when the processing is completed.
