BRUSHING
SCOTCH BRITE
This brushing has, compared to Brushing ARS, an effect of irregularity, gloss and an antiqued appearance.
Its aesthetic refinement matches perfectly with design and furniture objects, as well as being used in exteriors as paneling and profiles for curtain walls and window frames.
NECE is equipped to perform this brushing on:
- flat sheets
- extruded profiles of any geometry
- recess profiles (grooves and undercuts) - not possible with ARS
- components
- lighting
- small parts
The merits of this finish on anodized aluminum are many:
- resistance to atmospheric agents
- resistance to UV rays
- resistance to frequent handling
- impact resistance as an integral part of the surface
NECE has developed (by combining technique, finishing, and electrocoloring) an Anodizing with the appearance of a brushed burnishing usually used in other metals such as brass, iron, and steel, but with the fantastic strength and functionality of anodized aluminum.
For all these advantages, especially the codes C335-SCOTCH and C33-SCOTCH have been chosen by architects and designers as an improved replacement for antiqued brushed burnishing, which has very limited durability.
