METEF INNOVATION AWARD 2022
NECE was awarded by METEF for the ECO-SUSTAINABILITY OF THE COMPANY SYSTEM thanks to the largest Solar Cooling plant in Europe.
WATER PURIFICATION
NECE was born in 1969 in Villanova di Camposampiero, and remained there until 2003.
The experience gained in those years instilled a foresight in designing the best possible water purification plant for the new headquarters that would be built in Borgoricco.
LOWER IMPACT PRODUCTS
Environmental protection was also taken into serious consideration starting from the choice of products used in the plants, in order to obtain the lowest possible environmental impact.
REDUCTION OF PRODUCTION WASTE
Of fundamental importance, and an element of success, is the ability to significantly reduce production waste, thanks to the invention of finishes capable of recovering the damaged and aesthetically unacceptable aluminum surface.
ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION
The sustainability process, undertaken by NECE, was crowned with the achievement of the ISO 14001 Certification in 2009, for environmental protection, for the conscious use of resources and for the evaluation of improvement opportunities.
SOLAR COOLING
NECE is equipped with one of the most important anodizing plants in Europe, which requires, for its operation, considerable energy for both heating and cooling of the production phases.
NECE has improved energy efficiency by building a Solar Cooling plant on its roof, the only one of its kind in Italy, totally dedicated to powering the production lines, which has an area of 1440 square meters and an average production of 1 MWh, thus equipping itself with a a system that, in addition to meeting the energy needs of the production cycle, reduces CO2 emissions, respecting the CAM environmental requirements set by the community strategies, and is able to provide the best product from an environmental point of view.
